Sculpted from a medical model of a real body, the detailed, realistic human body model is composed of 10 removable squishy organs and 15 other removable bones, muscles, and organs. When one of the eight removable SmartParts is placed on the electronic SmartScan module, the scanner recognizes the part and prompts you to select Scan Mode or Quiz Mode. In Quiz Mode, you’ll test your knowledge by placing the correct SmartPart on the scanner to answer 70 quiz questions. What an amazing product. It's hard to call it a toy, since it far exceeds the simplicity of the word "toy". The product is good size, and my 8-year-old found the squishy organs fun to play with even before putting them on the scanner. The SmartScanner is awesome! When you place any one of the organs on the scanner it identifies the organ and explains what the organ does within the body. The fun facts are well, fun! and the quiz mode allows all of us to participate in a contest of knowledge of the human body. This product is so far advanced than what I could have ever imagined as a child.We ordered this version to replace the standard version of Squishy. What an improvement! This thing is so cool. I love that it delivers on so many levels. A puzzle? Check. Squishy human body parts? Check. Educational? Check. Tons of fun? Check.Highly rec'd for teachers, librarians, parents and anyone interesting in the human body.The Ultimate Human Squishy Body lab is fun and educational! Does not come with batteries so be sure to have 3 AAA batteries on hand. My nephew and I are having so much learning about the human body and reading along as we listen to the fun facts. His favorite are quiz mode and funny sounds!This was so much fun to learn with! Lots of fun components and a very helpful instruction booklet to help kids put things back into place when they're done.I thought that the overall, this SmartLab Toys Ultimate Squishy Human Body Lab with SmartScan Technology is educational but expensive. Plus, the organs don't stay put because I just couldn't get the little attachments on correctly. I really like the question and quiz answers, but the questions seem to be pretty repetitive after a while. The kids to learn quite a bit from basic anatomy from this figure, though. I wanted to display the figure when not in use upright, but cannot get the organs to stay in place just yet.First off, I am a professor of anatomy and dad, so I have two perspectives on this toy. The anatomy and content related to the human body is at a solid level for the anticipated audience. It is appropriate but doesn't exclude any of the body systems that might be embarrassing to the prudes of the world. The model is really great but takes some actual skill to assemble and disassemble. The RF chips in some of the organs is a really nice touch but I'm slightly concerned about the life-span of some organs since they are made from a very soft and tacky substance, rubber? latex? I'm not sure exactly but probably best not to handle them roughly. So if you have a kid with a really intense interest in the human body, go for it.This Ultimate Squishy Human Body toy is fun and educational. My kids and I enjoyed exploring this together. It was a fun activity that taught us a lot. It also looks great on display when not being used. My kids love showing their friends this interesting toy when they visit. The body is very detailed. The only thing I don’t like about this is its high price. More people would buy this if it was affordable. This would make a great gift for anyone who would like to study and learn about human anatomy.
