We have a 1 year old Australian Shepherd puppy with lots of energy. He loves to chew through his toys and eat the stuffing whenever possible. I bought him one of these giant rings when he was a much younger pup. The ring was heavy for him and he made it his mission to drag it around and find the weak spot in the construction. He finally tore it open into a long rectangle and has spent about 6 months chewing through the strapping a few inches at a time. He has trophy pieces in multiple lengths which he offers up for games of tug-a-war. He recently finished off the original ring so we ordered a replacement. The ring has outlasted every other toy the puppy has owned in the past year and certainly worth the investment. The puppy can chew all he wants, and there is no stuffing or strings for him to swallow. The Australian Shepherd rates this one 5 stars!
