I love this set. There's a problem but Amazon fixed it. It requires a lot of patient. I think it's more suitable for teen and adults. So much fun!I was expecting a Lego type build for this tiger. I was surprised to find that these were smaller than Legos and came in different sizes. I would recommend this for kids over 12. The pieces are so small and there are so many of them. This is definitely a challenging buildThis tiger set is adorable. They are small blocks, so I don't recommend it for small children. The instructions are well done and it makes a really cute display piece. The quality of the blocks seems fine, they fit well, and there were no pieces missing.Really nice set.I love this little guy! He was such a fun build and compared to the other micro builds that I've done, he was one of the easier ones. I've been dabbling in micro builds for a while for the complexity and from a budget sense you just can't get more bang for your buck than with these tiny pieces. Yes they are tiny, they don't call them micro for nothing. But I use the paper plate method and that helps me keep everything organized and helps the builds go faster. I lay out and label some paper plates and pour the bags onto each plate, I can easily spread them out and find pieces a lot faster. The instructions were easy to follow and the results were a solid build. Highly recommendThis set turned out great. But it was the hardest set I have ever done. These are not Legos. They are way smaller than Legos. I am 40 and have done a lot of Lego sets and this was way harder than any I have ever done. Just a heads up before you buy them for a kid.This is a cute kit to celebrate the year of the tiger on the Chinese lunar calendar.This kit is a knock-off of the popular Japanese Nanoblock kits. The pieces work like Legos, but are much smaller and the designs are more intricate. Even though this kit has almost 2000 pieces, the finished tiger is only about 6 inches tall.You build the kit from the bottom up, adding layers as you go. Most Nanoblock kits that I have built are models of buildings, so adding layers is relatively straight forward. With this kit, the layers are uneven sizes, sometimes narrower and sometimes wider. The wider sections take a lot of patience to assemble since you have to apply even pressure to the top and bottom layers to attach the pieces without collapsing. The tiger's tail is also difficult to assemble because the instructions are not clear and they don't give you detailed photos of the back of the tiger so you can see how it is supposed to fit together. What I finally came up with does hold together, but it doesn't look like the photos in the product description.Overall, I give this kit 4 stars. There were no missing pieces (very important!). It was generally enjoyable to build and the completed tiger looks pretty nice. The instructions and pieces are not as well organized as with Legos, but the price of the kit is much cheaper than a 2000-piece Lego kit.
